Lear’s solid aluminum harness concept provides a lighter weight alternative conductor through most of the harness length. It can be connected to traditional wire through CU/AL flexibility via existing connection systems. This solution provides up to 35 % weight reduction across a harness family, with high manufacturing automation possibilities in both harness assembly and OEM plants.
