There are several ways to travel to IZB 2026. To ensure a smooth journey, we recommend planning your trip well in advance. Please allow extra time for your journey, as increased traffic volumes are expected around the trade fair.

By Bus and Train

We recommend travelling to IZB by public transport as an environmentally friendly and convenient option.

During IZB 2026, a free shuttle bus will operate between Wolfsburg Central Station and the exhibition grounds in Allerpark. The shuttle will run at regular intervals and can be used free of charge by all visitors with a valid IZB ticket.

In addition, your IZB ticket is valid as a public transport ticket on WVG buses within Wolfsburg on the respective day of the event – from four hours before the start of the trade fair until the end of regular WVG services.

Important information for train travellers:

Due to extensive construction work by Deutsche Bahn, long-distance trains will not stop in Wolfsburg from 2 October 2026 until further notice. This will also affect the IZB period from 27 to 29 October.

Please check your individual connection before travelling and allow for additional transfers and/or longer travel times if necessary.

By Car

Wolfsburg can be easily reached via the A2 motorway between Hanover and Berlin and the A39. Due to increased traffic volumes around IZB, we recommend allowing sufficient time for your journey.

For travel to the exhibition grounds, digital traffic guidance via the NUNAV navigation app powered by #WolfsburgDigital is available. The route guidance takes current traffic conditions, temporary road closures and access restrictions into account and directs you to the designated entrances and parking areas.

Shuttle Service

For a convenient journey between Wolfsburg Central Station and the exhibition grounds, a free IZB shuttle service will operate throughout the trade fair.

Volkswagen Plant Wolfsburg ↔ IZB Exhibition Grounds | Allerpark

The connection between the Volkswagen plant and the IZB exhibition grounds will be strengthened during the trade fair. Two additional shuttle buses will supplement the “Tiguan” plant bus service operated by WVG.
