Safetycone isolates the laser beam

The VIN Marker from Trotec (see image) engraves the vehicle identification number using a laser in synchronised production lines. This increases the efficiency of production lines and reduces downtime (e.g. due to broken needles on needle embossers), manufacturing costs, set-up times and rework.

The special feature of the VIN Marker, in addition to the powerful fibre laser, is the Safetycone, which isolates the laser beam. This additional module provides the highest possible Class 1 laser protection and saves costs and effort for the housing and control cabinet.

Set up according to the production requirements, the laser is positioned with the Safetycone on the body or component without force-fit clamping. After several sensors on the safety cone have checked and approved the secure seal, engraving begins.
