Real-time alerts to drivers, connected vehicles, and smart city infrastructure

Founded in 2015, the U.S.-based technology company HAAS Alert has developed an innovative vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication platform called Safety Cloud®. This platform enhances road safety by delivering real-time alerts to drivers, connected vehicles, and smart city infrastructure, informing them of nearby emergency vehicles, work zones, and other roadway hazards.

Safety Cloud® integrates with a variety of emergency response vehicles, construction fleets, and municipal equipment to broadcast digital alerts to surrounding motorists through in-dash (multimedia) systems, navigation apps, and other connected devices.

The goal is to provide drivers with timely and actionable information to prevent collisions and improve overall traffic safety. In Europe, this specific safety feature will become a part of Euro NCAP 2026.
