Maximum Performance in Rotor Shaft Production with LinamaRadial

LinamaRadial is our new internally developed innovation of high-precision, manufacturing process optimizing rotor shafts production - thanks to a number of technological details.

Linamar’s specific manufacturing expertise that includes the use of high-quality bar material, the optimized production of near-net-shape Hatebur blanks, partial heating for radial forging (see image), as well as additional machining are details which collectively set a new standard for integrated production processes. The one-piece product design also enables significant cost savings compared to multi-piece rotor shafts, involving a cost reduction of around 4% compared to a two-piece shaft and as much as 8% compared to the three-piece version.
