High fire resistance even with thermal runaway

Busbars are metal conductors designed for high voltage applications. Their broad use in electric vehicles make it a key element to protect, with safety stakes for the user such as electric-hazard, fire,explosion and burns.

The brand new Nu-Sleeve SG-200 EV (see image) from DELFINGEN is a textile sleeve made of coated fiberglass which is adapted to busbar protection. Its silicon coating gives it a high fire resistance, even in case of thermal runaway, preventing the flames from spreading in the vehicles, while retaining a high dielectric resistance.

Its flexible and expandable construction design allows an easy installation that fits perfectly to its application, even on irregular shapes.
