Heat Pump Booster by Litens revolutionizes heat pumps in BEVs

For the first time, the HP Booster (see image) combines the functions of three components. This innovation allows for the optimization of heat pumps and overcomes common system weaknesses. The result is a significant overall improvement in the system efficiency of battery-electric vehicles. In addition to more sustainable use of high-quality heat pump systems, the thermal management system reduces pressure losses, optimizes space requirements, and eliminates the need for currently used auxiliary heaters.

With the HP Booster, Litens enables the use of the heat pump system even at significantly lower temperatures. The conventional chiller is replaced by the HP Booster, which includes a heat exchanger that can quickly regulate the temperature of the vehicle battery as needed, ensuring optimal vehicle performance and longevity.
