Grower OhmLock®: high-conductivity washer

Grower OhmLock® is a cutting-edge fastening solution for the electric vehicle industry. Developed by Growermetal’s R&D team, this conical washer addresses the unique challenges posed by the e-mobility market and is specific for battery pack fastening.

Crafted from quenched and tempered carbon steel, Grower OhmLock® features a dual-sided design: a knurled top surface and sharp protrusions on the underside. This geometry ensures reliable fastening, maintaining electrical conductivity between the washer bearing surface and bolt while preventing oxidation, damage and loosening. In this way, Grower OhmLock® preserves a smooth power flow and eliminates the risk of electric energy dispersion.

Thanks to its stress and corrosion resistance, the product is also suitable for car underbody applications, where exposure to weather conditions and vibrations is critical.
