The innoSHRINK_4L®_SLC (see image) has been added to the patented family of 2L and 4L products from iprotex to provide another clever user solution. The L-family optionally combines all known functions such as hot shrinking, cold shrinking and now also subsequent assembly. In particular, the snug, wrinkle-free flexibility of the 4L_SLC makes it suitable for a wide range of difficult applications, such as modern thermal management systems. The product contributes significantly to the efficient operation, increased performance and safety of these systems. A special weaving process is used to achieve an optimum blend of insulation and abrasion resistance in a high performance weave. The stable, overlapping tube shape is characterised by very good restoring forces and ensures an optimum fit to the application, whether rubber, plastic, cable or aluminium tubing.
