All-in-one environmental sensor platform

Sensirion Automotive Solutions introduces the SAEN Environmental Node (see image), the first automotive-grade all-in-one platform designed to streamline indoor air quality monitoring in vehicles. The modular platform uniquely combines multiple sensors in a never-before-seen form factor and can measure up to eight environmental parameters (PM1, PM2.5, RH, T, CO, CO 2, NOx, VOC). It simplifies integration, reduces costs, and allows for full customization. Directly integrated into the HVAC system it optimizes performance and saves energy. At its core is a miniaturized, MEMS-based particulate matter sensing component. Paired with a patented geometric arrangement, this component integrates the light source, detector, signal processing, and algorithm into a cost-effective and space-efficient solution.
