The GENESYS+™ range of laboratory power supplies (see image) by TDK-Lambda in a 1U 19” rack model is available with the power ratings 1 kW, 1.7 kW, 2.7 kW, 3.4 kW, 5 kW and 7.5 kW and offers output voltages of up to 1,500 V and an output current of up to 500 A. The programming is standardised throughout the entire range. Several programming methods are available, including LAN (LXI 1.5), USB, RS-232/RS-485 and an isolated analogue interface (0–5 V, 0–10 V), all of which are integrated into the devices as standard. When it comes to interfaces, users can choose between EtherCAT, Modbus-TCP, IEEE (488.2) and an isolated analogue interface (4–20 mA). Special options with particularly fast programming times and an integrated current sink are available for selected models, which are suitable for test applications and numerous simulation tasks in the automotive industry.
