First drivable ADAS demonstrator based on a SDV architecture

Aptiv presents the first drivable ADAS demonstrator based on the architecture of a software-defined vehicle. Smart Vehicle Architecture™ (SVA) consists of all critical components: Power Data Center (PDC), Central Vehicle Controller (CVC) and the Open Server Platform (OSP) supported by Wind River Edge, the cloud-native software architecture from Aptiv. The demonstration uses containerized software natively supported by SVA and Wind River Studio, an edge-to-cloud DevSecOps platform.

The open, modular and broadly scalable ADAS platform enables industry-leading AI-supported performance at significantly reduced system costs. Thanks to a flexible collaboration model, the market-proven system solution is ideally suited for the joint further development of the VW ADAS system.
