Aptiv’s Gen 8 Radar family is an advanced sensing platform for AI-powered ADAS and future automated driving applications. Combining Aptiv’s proprietary silicon, antenna technology, and advanced signal processing, the platform provides high detection range, resolution, and object detection performance in all weather and lighting conditions. The portfolio includes front and corner 4D radars capable of detecting, classifying, and tracking vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, road debris, and complex road features. A wider field of view, extended detection range, and more detailed sensor data support improved safety, enhanced driving automation, and scalable vehicle architectures, contributing to the transition toward software-defined vehicles and higher levels of autonomy.
