Electric Chassis Misuse Test System (FAMI) with AI-supported data analysis

The test bench (see image) is an innovative, electrically powered chassis misuse test system featuring energy storage and AI-supported data analysis. At its heart is a sled test system capable of generating high forces and speeds for EP 50000/EP 54000 test procedures. Synchronised measurement technology ensures that all sensor and measurement data are recorded with precise timing, whilst AI-supported data analysis evaluates the results in real time. The test bench simulates extreme load scenarios on chassis components, such as driving over obstacles, through potholes and onto curbs, and provides immediate feedback on the behaviour of the test specimen. With low energy consumption, high flexibility regarding various test parameters (speed, shape, dimensions, weight, etc.) and a small footprint, the system reliably tests chassis components to their limits under controlled laboratory conditions.
