Clip-On Current Sensor for Cost-Sensitive Applications

The Clip-On Current Sensor (see image) from Bourns Electronics GmbH combines Tunnel Magnetoresistance (TMR) technology with a modular, installation-friendly housing. It clips directly onto a standard rectangular busbar – without notches, cut-outs or other mechanical modifications. Interchangeable mounting clips accommodate different busbar sizes, while the measurement range can be configured electronically. TMR technology enables precise current measurement with high tolerance to positioning variations.
