The Future of the Automotive Industry Meets in Wolfsburg – Be Part of It!

More than 850 exhibitors from 36 countries, eleven world premieres and direct engagement with Volkswagen: From 27 to 29 October, IZB 2026 will offer insights into emerging technologies and bring together international suppliers, development partners and automotive manufacturers.

Wolfsburg, 23 October 2026. In just a few days, Wolfsburg’s Allerpark will once again become an international meeting point for the automotive industry. At the 13th International Suppliers Fair (IZB), companies will showcase new technologies and solutions for the mobility of tomorrow. More than 55 innovations announced in advance are among the highlights of the event. Marking its 25th anniversary, the fair will also offer trade visitors an extensive programme featuring numerous opportunities for personal exchange between industry, research and other sectors.

New Technologies and Insights from Other Industries

Artificial intelligence, battery technologies, automated driving and connected vehicles are among the key focus areas of IZB 2026. As part of Innovations@IZB, companies will present new developments and give trade visitors the opportunity to learn more about their potential applications first-hand.

With the newly established Cross Industry Area, IZB is deliberately opening its doors to additional industries. Companies and research institutions working in Urban Technologies, Security & Defence, Health & Medical Technology and the Circular Economy will showcase their expertise and seek dialogue with the automotive industry. The AI Experience Space hosted by #WolfsburgDigital in Hall 6 also invites visitors to explore the possibilities of artificial intelligence. Interactive applications demonstrate how AI is already being used in industry and mobility today.

IZB Livestage: Dialogue on Challenges and Solutions

The IZB Livestage puts the automotive industry's current challenges centre stage. Over all three days of the fair, senior representatives from development, design and procurement will join suppliers, consultants and academics to discuss technological requirements and potential solutions.

Keynotes, panel discussions, reverse pitches and tech talks will provide insights into the industry's latest challenges and developments. Reverse pitches are particularly relevant for suppliers, as they put the industry's requirements front and centre. Companies can learn which solutions are in demand and engage directly with potential partners.

Volkswagen and Suppliers in Direct Dialogue

The five Volkswagen Group Hubs are among the key destinations at the fair. Each hub focuses on a different area of the automotive value chain.

Trade visitors can engage directly with Volkswagen Group experts to discuss new technologies, current requirements and opportunities for collaboration. In the run-up to the fair, 365 proposals had already been submitted in response to the Call for Proposals.

“We are proud that, for 25 years, IZB has been bringing companies and experts from around the world to Wolfsburg. It is a place where automotive manufacturers and their development partners meet, present innovations and discuss joint projects. With IZB, we provide an international platform for this exchange while also strengthening Wolfsburg as a business location,” says Dr Tim Schumacher, Member of the Executive Board of Wolfsburg AG.

Whether visitors are interested in new technologies, concrete project ideas or international contacts, IZB offers numerous reasons to come to Wolfsburg. Those looking for new development partners, seeking to strengthen existing relationships or wanting to learn more about the automotive industry's latest requirements will find the right contacts over the three days of the fair.
