IZB 2024: Innovations in the automotive industry attract visitor interest

Wolfsburg, 22nd October 2024. On the first day of the 12th International Supplier’s Fair (IZB), its key topic, “Empowering Partnerships”, attracted a multitude of visitors to the city of Wolfsburg. In six exhibition halls, more than 840 companies from the automotive industry are currently showcasing their innovations for vehicle mobility. In addition to products and services for development, production and logistics, exhibits above all include applications from the areas of connectivity, electronics and alternative drive systems. Both visitors from Germany and abroad and representatives from the worlds of business, politics and associations have already made the most of the marketing and business platform for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and experience.

These visitors also included members of the Boards of Management of Volkswagen AG and the Volkswagen Brands, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG, Oliver Blume, and the IZB patrons Dirk Große-Loheide, Member of the Extended Executive Committee of Volkswagen AG and Member of the Board of Management of the Volkswagen Passenger Cars Brand responsible for Procurement, and Kai Grünitz, Brand Board Member for Technical Development at Volkswagen Passenger Cars.

From now until 24th October, visitors can enjoy dialogue both at the stands of the IZB exhibitors and on the IZB Live Stage, where around 30 panel discussions, presentations and live demonstrations will provide professional ideas and inspiration for conversations between suppliers, manufacturers and further stakeholders in the industry.

The IZB in the Allerpark in Wolfsburg is open to visitors daily from 10 am to 6 pm from now until 24th October.
