The "Funding Scheme" for the uptake of charging infrastructure continues. The new KfW grant programme 441 for "charging stations in companies" as well as grant programme 439 for "charging stations for electric vehicles – municipalities" focus on uptake at non-public car parks. This addresses a key charging scenario, charging at the workplace, and is thus a cornerstone for demand-based charging infrastructure. At the stations, both company fleets and employees' private vehicles can be charged.
In this context, we now would like to inform you of this new grant opportunity from KfW, a German state-owned investment and development bank, for companies.
The grant covers the procurement and installation of charging stations next to parking spaces that are not publicly accessible. At the stations, both company fleets and employees' private vehicles can be charged. The grant per chargepoint is 900 Euros; the prerequisite is that the overall cost be above 1,285.71 Euros per chargepoint. The maximum subsidy available is 45,000 Euros per location.
Grants can be issued to companies in private industry, municipal companies, sole proprietorships, self-employed professionals, public-law corporations and institutions, along with non-profit organisations. A grant programme has also been set up for municipalities.
