The Celebratory Opening Event of the International Suppliers Fair (IZB) 2012

Wolfsburg, Germany, 25th September 2012 – Every other year, the key players of the global automotive supplier industry come together to demonstrate their innovative power and technological expertise at the International Suppliers Fair (IZB). This year, over 760 exhibitors from 28 different countries will be presenting their products and services at the exhibition grounds in Wolfsburg from 10th to 12th October. The celebratory Opening Event for the IZB will be taking place in the Autostadt in Wolfsburg on the evening of 9th October, the day before the first day of the trade fair. Over 1500 guests from Germany and abroad, including representatives from the IZB exhibitors and from the worlds of business and politics, are expected to attend this event at the piazza in the Autostadt’s Group Forum. Alongside talks by the organisers and patrons of the IZB, the Opening Event will also feature cultural performances from the IZB partner countries Argentina and Brazil.

Wolfsburg is expecting to welcome over 760 exhibitors from 28 different countries and tens of thousands of trade visitors to the 7th International Suppliers Fair at the exhibition grounds in the Allerpark in Wolfsburg. The partner countries of this year's IZB are Argentina and Brazil and its patrons are David McAllister, the Prime Minister of the German Federal State of Lower Saxony, Francisco J. Garcia Sanz, a Member of the Board of Volkswagen AG, and Klaus Mohrs, the Mayor of the City of Wolfsburg.
