IZB 2012: Automotive Supplier Companies Bring World Premieres to Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg, Germany, 8th August 2012 – A durable compact automotive horn, a 3D component featuring a circuit board with a matching shape and a high-performance laser scanner are just three of a number of exhibits that will be presented to the world for the first time at the International Suppliers Fair (IZB) in Wolfsburg in October 2012. Over 700 exhibitors from 26 different countries will be showcasing their latest developments at the 7th IZB in the Allerpark in Wolfsburg from 10th to 12th October. Anyone interested in the specialist topics involved in the automotive supplier industry can visit the IZB on one or more of its three trade fair days in order to gain a deep and detailed insight into the innovations of automotive supplier companies and the latest industry trends. You can find an overview of the innovations being presented in Wolfsburg in the IZB Innovations Report, which can now be viewed online at www.izb-online.com/en/press/innovationsreport-2012. A print version of the report will be published shortly before the start of the trade fair.

The world premieres mentioned above are just some of the innovative highlights being presented at the IZB, for example the EC10-RD electronic automotive horn from the Spanish company Clarton Horn. This brand new product is extremely compact and robust, produces powerful sound and is able to achieve over two million stroke cycles. The companies Kunststoff Helmbrechts AG and MID-Tronic Wiesaupalast GmbH will also be presenting a new product at the exhibition grounds in the Allerpark: their new 3D component featuring a circuit board with a matching shape for use in the field of functional electronics.

Other world premieres being showcased at the trade fair have been developed by the companies Projektron GmbH and Steinbichler Optotechnim GmbH, namely a new version of the project management software Projektron BCS and the extremely high-performance T-Scan CS laser scanner for even more accurate measurements.
The IZB will also be welcoming interesting new innovations from the field of corrosion protection, for example the new basecoats and topcoats for even thinner coatings and better corrosion protection from the French exhibitor NOF METAL COATINGS EUROPE and the latest product from the Topcoat Delta-Protekt range from Dörken MKS-Systeme, which provides even more optimal protection for fastener surfaces.

New software solutions are some of the other innovations that will also be coming under the spotlight in Wolfsburg, for example a software solution from Psipenta that supports the direct delivery of parts to the production line in precise accordance and synchronicity with defined sequences. Visitors to the IZB can additionally marvel at the 15-axle dual-arm robot created by the Japanese company Yaskawa.
