The International Suppliers Fair (IZB) 2020 is bucking the current negative trend affecting automotive exhibitions and similar events and is already booked out. According to these figures, the registration process has yet again sped up in comparison to previous years. As in previous years, there is a waiting list for interested companies. As was the case at previous events, the stand booking procedure for this year’s IZB is only available online.
”We are delighted about the huge interest in the event and the large number of registrations that we have already received a year before the start of the fair and we are confident that this bodes well for a successful IZB 2020”, declares Stefan Schiller, head of the IZB team. According to Schiller, a host of new exhibitors have signed up for the event and several exhibitors from last year's event have increased the size of their stand areas, with some even booking twice as much space. “This is impressive proof of the high significance of our trade fair in the industry. The IZB has clearly established itself as Europe’s leading trade fair for the automotive supplier industry and will continue to secure its top position,” emphasises the team leader. Schiller also notes that the respected specialist trade fair has one main purpose: to act as a meeting place for dialogue, networking, integration and cooperation between OEMs, suppliers and trade visitors.
The stand bookings received for the IZB 2020 so far have come from companies from a total of 33 different countries, including Germany. "We are well on our way to reaching the same number of exhibitors as in 2018", states Schiller, adding that the tenth IZB achieved very positive figures with more than 838 exhibitors from 34 different nations and a good 50,000 visitors from all over the world. As a result, the IZB 2018 was more international than ever before.
Eight of the world’s ten highest-volume automotive supplier companies, for example, showcased their products and services in 2018 in Wolfsburg. The even larger number of bookings that have already been received and the huge amount of exhibitor interest in the event on a continuous basis show the high importance of the International Suppliers Fair, which will take place between 6th and 8th October 2020 in the Allerpark in Wolfsburg.
