94 percent of exhibitors plan to participate again
A total of 93 percent of the exhibitors surveyed stated that their overall impression of the IZB 2016 was positive, with 70 percent evaluating the trade fair as good or even very good. Around three quarters of the company representatives at the event were pleased with the flow of visitors to their stands, and 73 percent consider the IZB to be a valuable marketing and innovation platform. The trade fair also offers excellent opportunities for business transactions for 69 percent of the exhibitors surveyed.
75 percent of the companies with exhibition stands at the last IZB have more than 500 employees. Nearly four fifths of the exhibiting companies were represented by more than three employees at the trade fair in 2016, with 26 percent even stating that they had more than six company representatives at their stand. Against this background, the majority of exhibitors would like to see further improvements in terms of the hotel accommodation available for the event. Approximately half of the survey participants also stated that there is room for improvement with regard to the parking situation. At the end of the event, 94 percent of the company representatives surveyed had already decided to also participate in the IZB 2018. Around a quarter of the exhibitors additionally want to increase their stand area at the next trade fair.
96 percent consider the IZB to be an innovation platform for the automotive industry
An impressive 98 percent of the visitors surveyed stated that they plan to return to the IZB in 2018. When asked for their opinion of the event, 94 percent claimed that their overall impression of the trade fair was good or very good. 95 percent of those surveyed stated that the International Suppliers Fair provides them with a comprehensive overview of the market, while 86 percent consider the IZB to be an important trend barometer and outstanding source of information on future-oriented innovations. Other important reasons as to why these participants chose to visit the trade fair above all included the aims of concluding or preparing business transactions, making the most of an exchange of experiences and learning more about developments in the automotive industry.
