Registration
Who is the organiser of the IZB?
The responsible agent of the event is Wolfsburg AG and the licensee for the implementation of the event is Messe Berlin GmbH
The MW Messe-, Ausstellungs- und Dienstleistungsgesellschaft Wolfsburg mbH (a 100% subsidiary of Messe Berlin GmbH) or a company that it has commissioned will act as the contractual partner for all exhibitors.
Why do I have to apply in order to become an IZB exhibitor?
Given that the IZB is a trade fair solely for supplier companies, only companies offering services and products that correspond to the name, structure and focus of the IZB will be approved as exhibitors. We therefore use a formal application process in which we briefly examine every interested company in order to check whether its portfolio suits the IZB.
How can I join the IZB mailing list?
If you have exhibited at previous IZB events (2001-2010), you are automatically registered in the IZB mailing list. If you would like to join the IZB mailing list, please use our Application Form.
How are stand areas/stands allocated?
After returning your completed registration documents, we will use your individual specifications to plan the allocation of stands. Your position in the halls will be determined according to your specified Key Area.
The allocation of stand areas and the measurement of stand sizes shall be carried out by the MW Messe-, Ausstellungs- und Dienstleistungsgesellschaft Wolfsburg mbH according to factors determined by the theme of the exhibition and the available exhibition area. Special requests will be taken into consideration where possible.
Once all stands have been allocated, we will automatically inform you of the position of your stand.
What are the cancellation fees?
If an exhibitor cancels his/her participation in the event and his/her stand can be successfully hired out to another party, the MW Messe-, Ausstellungs- und Dienstleistungsgesellschaft Wolfsburg mbH shall be entitled to claim payment of 25% of the stand hire charged from the original hirer.
The full stand hire must be paid when the MW Messe-, Ausstellungs- und Dienstleistungsgesellschaft Wolfsburg mbH hires the agreed stand area out to another party but the overall stand area nevertheless decreases as a result of the cancellation/non-participation.
The exhibitor shall be entitled to prove that these costs were not incurred by the MW Messe-, Ausstellungs- und Dienstleistungsgesellschaft Wolfsburg mbH or that the amount is incorrect. The MW Messe-, Ausstellungs- und Dienstleistungsgesellschaft Wolfsburg mbH reserves the right to assert further claims.
How do I pay my invoice for my exhibition stand?
The MW Messe-, Ausstellungs- und Dienstleistungsgesellschaft Wolfsburg mbH will send every accepted exhibitor:
1.) An e-mail confirmation of receipt approx. 1 week after having received the registration documents
2.) An advance payment invoice that must be paid by the stipulated due date for payment. This will be sent several weeks after registration (at the beginning of 2012 at the earliest). Please note that the stand may be used for other purposes if the complete hire payment has not been received by the due date for payment at the latest.
3.) A final invoice for all due payments for services following the end of the IZB 2012.

Do all exhibitors from the partner countries have to be in the Partner Countries Hall?

Who is the contact for exhibitors from the partner countries?
If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with us at any time.

We recommend that you take out a suitable insurance policy to avert damages. Valuable items that can be easily removed should be locked away during the night.
Do I need authorisation in order to operate machines and other acoustic/visual devices?

This also applies to the use of other devices and equipment that can be used to achieve a better advertising effect through use of visual and acoustic means.
In accordance with the requirement of the valid version of the German Copyright Act, as listed in section 15, “Copyright Act”, of the German Civil Code (BGB), authorisation from the German Society for Musical Performing and Mechanical Reproduction Rights (GEMA) must be obtained for all types of reproduction of music.
