Applied Nano Surfaces, known as ANS for short, is now taking the next step towards offering the Triboconditioning® of connecting rods (see image) on a global level together with Linamar. The company Linamar, which is one of the top 33 tier-1 companies in North America, and ANS have signed a licence and partnership agreement on connecting rods for light and medium passenger vehicles. Linamar's growth strategy focuses on diversification, globalisation and green technologies. The company wants to further strengthen its market position by using the ANS Triboconditioning® technology on its connecting rods. According to Linamar, its agreement with ANS forms part of its corporate strategy to increase the value delivered to its customers. The IZB exhibitor claims that with Triboconditioning®, ANS offers a solution that combines high performance with a competitive price and therefore strengthens the company's position as one of the world's leading providers of connecting rods.
